We are sure that Rudi feels comfortable where he is now. Can he now meet all the protagonists of the most exiting time of his life.
One can imagine that he has lots of things to talk with guys like Schorsch Dotterweich, Georg Goppert, Fritz Riess, Ernst Wüstenhagen, Harald Oelerich and the other Victorians.
He was an enrichment for our IG and a never ending source of Victoria knowledge, that he willingly shared with us.
Rudi, it was a great pleasure for us that we got to know you. We will never forget you and pass on your stories, because in these stories you live on for us.
Anniversary! 25th Victoria MeetingPlease note: August 2 to 3, 2013 in Stockach / Seelfingen (Lake Constance)It is time soon! 13 years after the millenium meeting in 2000 close to the Lake Constance, the anniversary event (25 years Victoria IG) should take place in proximity of the swabian sea. The meeting will be located in the same place like at that time, but this time with sunshine not in its liquid form. As the type specialist for the boxer models I will host the anniversary meeting with my family and several friends of mine in a very familiar surrounding. In the meantime there are two privately owned museums on the site that can be visitet. They will be basis for extended "fuel talks" among the Victorians. 38 up to 99: THE meeting for fans of the Victorias with small enginesFriday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 5th, 2013 in Garlsted between Bremen and Bremerhaven, GermanyDoris and Detlef Schoppmeyer invite you to the "38 to 99er meeting". This fee includes 2 x Breakfast (Saturday and Sunday) Written sign-on to Detlef Schoppmeyer, Meeting fee payment to bank account Sparkasse Bremen, Detlef Schoppmeyer, The FIVA needs us!In the FIVA they try to beware our hobby from any threads and to talk to responsibles in politics. The FIVA has a commission in which the future development of skills for repairing old cars and motorcycles as well as the development of markets are subject. Purpose is to assist and give help regarding e.g. offering of training measures or convince manufacturers to reproduce old spare parts. Because there are no figures available whatsoever, the commission currently organizes a survey for all those concerned, that is us! They want to get a general idea of how the situation actually is, and if there are no figures available, you have to investigate on your own. Now comes your part: There are answers to that survey, but it is absolutely too few. Even a small nation like Belgium had more participants in this survey than large ones like e.g. Germany or the U.K. So please spend just ten minutes (in maximum) to take part in this survey here (click!) Let's create a remarkable result for the larger countries. too, and help the FIVA with their aim to push our matter!
